The price of living in London

Residents of London are having to pay a high price, and it’s one that goes beyond continuously ballooning weekly rents. In the absence of a strong tenants’ rights organisation, many are required to pay a full year’s rent upfront to move in. This analytical feature about arguably the most absurd property market in the world was written while I myself was a tenant in London, surrounded by fellow renters in sheer disbelief.
